With just 2 short weeks to Election day, HaMesivta – U.L.Y. of Ocean Parkway had a distinguished guest visit their school, New York State Senator David Storobin.
David spent some time speaking to the boys about his values and goals for the community.
David was born in Russia, and emigrated as young child. He says no one would have ever thought he would be where he is today. He worked hard in his life to accomplish what he has. The lesson, he explained to the students, is that you can’t ever give up.
“You only lose when you stop trying,” was his message.
As a politician, he hopes to serve a higher purpose. He plans on helping the community build up their education, schooling, and employment.
He explained why he is a better choice to represent his district in the New York State Senate. “I am your voice in Albany,” he told the school.

Go Motty!!!!
Felder was and still is Mike Blombergs biggest ally and advocate
Felder backed Quinn.
Felder is 1 of the reasons that anti MBP Bloomberg is still the Mayor. Storobin would get my vote if I lived in that district.
A real goan and a tremendous mentch!!!!
Keep up the amazing work of chinuch
Sorry if I was in that district, Simcha would definitely get my vote. He is a seasoned politician, has a proven track record and is a real mensh. Actually as a parent of an alumni I recommend that you equally reach out to the Felder campaign so that you show deference to both. This move would be best as who ever wins will be a friend of the yeshiva.
Love 4 moishy stuart and meir kolt! u guys rock dat mesivta!
I would vote For Simcha Felder as Wikipedia puts it ” Felder gained popularity among his conservative Jewish constituents for advocating strongly on their behalf”
