The family of Ariel Antebi, a Shliach from Brazil who was in town for the annual Kinus Hashluchim, gathered at the Boeuf & Bun restaurant in Crown Heights on Sunday evening to say goodbye before he returned to his place of Shlichus.
As it was just after the Kinus Hashluchim Banquet, they were among many families who were joining Shluchim family members for dinner before they headed out for their flights back home.
As the Antebi family were enjoying their dinner in the crowded restaurant, suddenly, customers at one of the tables behind them began to sing a Niggun, Rabbi Antebi’s son-in-law told COLlive.com. Another table soon joined, he said. The next moment, he describes, the entire restaurant sprang to life.
“Before we knew it, the entire restaurant broke into a joyous spontaneous dance,” he said. “Diners, waitstaff, and even an Uber Eats delivery driver joined the spontaneous celebration. It was a beautiful moment of achdus and celebration of the Shluchim in Crown Heights.”
What an inspiration! Constantly uplifting and encouraging everyone around him. Yasher Koach!!
