Siyum in Memory of FREE Gabbai

Community members, congregants and friends recently gathered at Congregation Beis Dovid located at F.R.E.E (Friends of Refugees of Eastern Europe) in Crown Heights.

The occasion was a siyum completion on Gemara Meseches Kidushim held in memory of R’ Yosef Tzvi ben R’ Chaim Volovik who served as the Shul’s community leader as well as gabbai.

Attending the ceremony and the meal that followed it were current and past members of the shul and family of Rabbi Volovik.

The teachers of the shiur were R’ Michoel Shkolnik, R’ Yaakov Borodkin, and R’ Velvel Geisinsky.

At the meal, Chazzan Aryeh Leib Horowitz gave a musical performance and remarks were given by Rabbis Yitzchok Mishulovin, Yossi Altein, Yaakov Sidorov, Michoel Shkolnik and Velvel Geisinsky.
