The Lincoln Place Shul and Beis Hamedrash in Crown Heights organized an elegant Hakhel farbrengen for women in honor of Chof Beis Shvat, the 28th yartzeit of Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka Schneerson OBM.
Mrs. Chaya Shushan, the event’s organizer, welcomed everyone stressing the importance to be united and to celebrate together chassidishe Yomim Tovim, especially during the year of Jewish unity.
A video of the Rebbe speaking about the great mission of the Jewish woman was projected.
The guest speaker was the renowned Mrs. Tzivia Jacobson who shared personal stories and encounters she had with the Rebbe and Rebbetzin during the early years.
The crowd was delighted with a hearty and delicious buffet of handmade chocolates macaroons and other delicacies from Dodilly Elegant Desert caterer. Special thanks was given to Mrs. Goldie Narbony and Mrs. Miri Laufer for their continuous help and collaboration.
As the Rebbe requested on many occasions, the Lincoln Shul and Beis Hamedrash is running a monthly Hakhel farbrengen for women featuring a guest speaker and special treats.
