On Monday, 17 Adar I, following an incredible West Coast Kinus HaShluchim on the previous day, over 70 Shluchim gathered at Chabad of Encino, California for the second day of the Kinus and a full day retreat with Rabbi Manis Friedman.
At the retreat, Rabbi Friedman addressed many issues that are specific to Shlichus. The morning sessions revolved around the best way to positively affect Balei Batim and add meaning to their lives while the afternoon sessions dealt with Shluchim, their families and children and how to properly balance family and community.
The retreat was a project of West Coast Chabad-Lubavitch in partnership with “It’s Good To Know” directed by Rabbi Zalman Friedman and was sponsored in part by Rabbi Yitzchok Raskin from Machon Stam.
A special thanks to Rabbi Simcha Backman and the West Coast Vaad HaKinus and the Chabad of Encino staff under the direction of Rabbi Yehoshua B. Gordon: Rabbi Yochanan Baitelman, Rabbi Yochanan Gordon and Rabbi Yochanan Herzog.
70 Shluchim ka”h, and no one can tell us anything? We want to hear! No one makes full day retreats with Rabbi Friedman for us! Please share.
