This year marks the camp’s 23rd successful year, inspiring these young children each and every year. Every child has his own individual story to tell about his hometown and school, but they all carry one common title and dedication: each one is a Shliach of the Rebbe.
They come to the camp looking for a year’s worth of inspiration in an 11-day package of energy and enthusiasm for their mission to touch each and every Jewish soul in their city, and each year the camp has delivered. What these Young Shluchim gain over the week and a half of camp is beyond imagination.
This year, the Young Shluchim Camp really pulled out the stops with a promise of, “the best year yet.” They backed it up with some exceptional staff choices, who made sure that there was something exciting every day of the camp. Each day was given a unique theme for everything that would happen that day, including arts and crafts, learning, workshops and activities. From farbrengens to Rebbe time, swimming pool to zip lines and everything in between, the camp provided non-stop fun intertwined with chayus and learning opportunities.
Video: Compiled from daily whatsapp videos sent to parents of campers:
Camp attendance was best represented in the flights – campers flew in and out on a record-breaking 48 different flights in and out of Florida!
But what makes parents send their children on a flight alone, sometimes even halfway around the world, for an eleven-day winter camp? Their own words say it best:
…As parents, we try to instill in our children a sense that as the Rebbe’s shluchim, we love everyone, but we are different, and it is a privilege to be different. Sometimes, despite our efforts, they feel the different part more than the privilege part.
This is why we sent our daughter to Tzeirei Hashluchim Camp in Florida. It is a long way to fly from Australia without your parents, but we felt that this is an opportunity for her to develop her pride in being a Chabad Shlucha, by being surrounded by girls just like her and counselors who understand her.
The experience met our expectations. She had fun, made friends for life, and soaked in the happy Chassidisher environment.
Thank you Camp Tzeirei Hashluchim.

Chaya had a great time! Yesterday close the end of the fast she said, “I’m more hungry for camp than I am for food.”

I have no words to describe how happy my girls came back!
The hiskashrus and chassidishkeit they came home with- is beyond amazing! I am so grateful for the opportunity they had to spend time with friends and warm counselors in a safe environment where they felt so special about who they were.
Thank you, many times over!

The Young Shluchim Camp was founded in 5755, the year following Gimmel Tammuz, to provide the children of Shluchim with a new avenue to connect to the Rebbe. This year marks their twenty-second year of operation, nineteen of which was based in Oracle, Arizona before the recent relocation to Lake Worth, Florida after the joint purchase of a campsite together with Rabbi Yossi Biston and Rabbi Sholom D. Lipskar.
The Young Shluchim Camp is a department of Chinuch Yaldei Hashluchim, a division of The Shluchim Office. Rabbi Don Yoel Levy, of OK Kosher Certification, is the main sponsor of this worthy cause.
