Rabbi Mordey and Shaina (nee Simons) Richler, together with their daughter Rochel, will be moving to S. Lake Tahoe in California to open a Chabad Center.
Their goal is to strengthen Jewish awareness and pride for the residents, homeowners and the millions of vacationers to this idyllic California destination.
Lake Tahoe’s pristine fresh waters, snow capped mountains, clean air and blue skies, is what attracts over 3,000,000 visitors annually to this breathtaking destination. Tahoe has been rated as one of America’s top skiing destinations, and is known as “America’s Best Lake.”
The Richlers have been appointed by Rabbi Shlomo Cunin, Head Shliach of the West Coast, with the assistance of Rabbi Yossi Cunin.
They thank Rabbi Mendel Cunin, Director of Chabad of Northern Nevada, for facilitating their new shlichus and are grateful to the shluchim from the surrounding areas for all their help.
