R’ Shloime Schneerson, of Kfar Chabad, Israel, passed away on Friday, 16 Iyar, 5777.
He was 55.
He was recently admitted to the hospital after suffering a stroke, and this morning he passed away.
R’ Shloime is the son of Rabbi Moshe Schneerson obm, the famous beekeeper from Kfar Chabad and the father of the Schneerson family.
His funeral will take place today at 14:15 and will leave the Schneerson family home in Kfar Chabad, from there to the main yeshiva of Tomchei Temimim in Kfar Chabad, and continue on its way to the cemetery in the town of Ahiezer.
He is survived by his mother Uzit, his married daughter, brothers and sisters.
Baruch Dayan Ha’emes.
A real Tamim. I remember him from 30 years ago. He would kiss the mezuzas as he passed through each room with such genuine sincerity. Instead of seeming weird, it made you wonder why everyone didn’t also do that. It was with real love of HaShem and His mitzvos.
His family should be comforted.
So young, ad Mossi? 😥
He worked for me many years ago in Yerushalaim. Was sweet and happy soul, always very upbeat. Now that I’m in Crown Heights I had thought of him often, he was very proud of his family and talked about his father’s beekeeping and honey. BDE
