Rabbi Chein, are you available for consulting? So many of us would love to release our budgets to the public, but we’re just afraid of some of the things that you mentioned in this article. Maybe you can sit down and convince me (and many others) how to rid ourselves of these fears??
Sincerely,
A fellow Shliach

Most organizations need to file 990’s (unless they are defined as a church).
The 990’s are available to the public on webiste’s like guidestar.

Now if 770 would do the same ,that would be a kidush hashem.

Impressive!

Very glad to hear this – it should definitely be standard for any organization soliciting donations. The Beis Medrash of Crown Heights (run by Rabbi Lipskier) also released their annual budget in a brave and honest move several months ago. Kudos to Rabbis Chein and Lipskier. You are providing a positive example for all the other rabbis out there.
