American entrepreneur and business executive Kevin Harrington is confirmed as one of the participating investors on “The Launch Pad,” a live pitching of business opportunities at the upcoming Jewish business convention LTB 2013.
The exchange is modeled after ABC’s popular Shark Tank reality TV show, where a panel of wealthy investors are offered to invest for a stake in an invention, company or product.
Harrington, who has been an investor on “Shark Tank,” is the Chairman of the “As Seen On TV” enterprise and has been involved with over 500 product launches that resulted in sales of more than $4 billion worldwide.
Along with 4 other wealthy businessmen whose names have not been released, Harrington is willing to dish out $100,000 in seed money for the next big idea that will be presented by aspiring entrepreneurs at the convention.
LTB (Let’s Talk Business), the North American Jewish community’s first-ever business conference, will take place on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at the Dyker Beach Golf Course in Brooklyn, NY.
Another “Shark Tank” related guest at the convention will be Rabbi Moshe Weiss, the teacher-turned-entrepreneur from Minnesota who was the first frum Jew to appear on show.
His invention, the SoundBender amplifier for the iPad device, has received a $54,000 investment from clothing mogul and marketing expert Daymond John. Weiss will be speaking about his success to guests of the LTB convention.
