By Crown Heights Jewish Community Council:
Attention Seniors – you have 10 days to save up to 50% on your property taxes.
Many low income seniors do not know that they can claim the Senior Citizen Homeowner Exemption for a 50% reduction in property taxes.
If you own and live in a home in NYC and at least one of you is 65 or older with a total household income of $58,000 or less, you must claim the exemption by March 15 to reduce your taxes for the new Fiscal year beginning July 1, 2024.
Crown Heights Jewish Community Council is ready to help you file the paperwork.
Call 718-778-8808 ext 7722 for details.
Thank you CHJCC for advertising this. I really hope people who did not know take advantage of this.
