The “Meeting of Souls” is an annual gathering in connection with Gimmel Tammuz held near the Rebbe’s Ohel in Old Montefiore Cemetery in Queens, NY.
Organized by Lubavitch Youth Organization, it aims to inspire members of Chabad centers in the New York area to strengthen their commitment to the Rebbe’s legacy.
This year’s guest speaker was Rabbi Leibel Groner, the long-time secretary of the Rebbe who has delighted and inspired the tens of men and women present with stories and insights.
The emcee was Rabbi Mordechai Shain, Director of Lubavitch of the Palisades in Tenafly, NJ. Singer Benny Friedman sang Chabad niggunim, before the attendees went to write a personal ‘pan’ letter and prayed at the Ohel.
Rabbi Groner, is an inspiration.
I go into Shabbos uplifted.
May G-d give him Arichus Yomim v’Shonim Toivos.
