Despite freezing weather, dozens of families streamed to celebrate Purim at the Oholei Yosef Yitzchok boys school in Crown Heights.
The school held a Purim feast for their school community.
The program started off with Megillah reading after which the children felt like Mordechai Hatzadik and rode on real horses. Families had an opportunity to partake in Purim meal with Divrei Torah, live music, as well as a rally with exciting prizes. The grand prize was on an Arizal Megillah.
Families enjoyed cozy family atmosphere and a great opportunity to share the joy of Purim with their friends.
“My family enjoyed the party very much” Says Mrs. Leah Goldshtein, parent and a teacher at the school. “Beautifully decorated feast ready to great Moshiach, amazing horse riding, loud and clear Megillah reading, fascinating dvar toiro, stunning raffle prizes, cozy and warm family atmosphere,- what could be better to celebrate Purim with joy and inspiration!.”
“The event was filled with Purim spirit, songs and simcha all around. We could really feel the sense of school community and the whole event was just perfect, from the megilla to the food!” says Dana Pestun, another parent.
