they come to PS not only for the climate but because it’s not a beach town with people walking around not-tznius like in Miami. It’s a tznius vacation spot and has great natural hot springs which is good for health issues and the like. Chabad of Palm Springs is also very sympathetic to all Chissidik sects and so they all feel welcome there.
Every ‘Season’ which is from after Chanuka until Purim, winter guests and ‘Rebbe’s’ come to vacation in Palm Springs. Shuchim Rabbi Yonason Denebeim & Rabbi Yankel Kreiman, enjoy their company every year. They come with their chasiddim and hold ’tish’…. Come & see for yourselves.

I said warm climates, for example, Miami, where there is a nice sized Heimishe Kehileh, but they choose not to in order to stay out of the public eye. and again i said that this is uncomfimed.
THE CLOSEST OTHER OPTION TO CHABAD OF PALM SPRINGS (OTHER THEN OTHER CHABAD HOUSES) IS 2 HOURS AWAY IN LOS ANGELES…

would of been nice to see the shliach there which proves one point the fone lines are more open then u think your email is read the prayer is heard (i think so) the ground is easier to dig then u think all it needs is to have one person with a vision and freedom to see above the treeline and canvass everyone together for a concerted FOCUSED effort and after that if moshiach isnt here then nothing will the rebbe is a brilliant strategist but one thing is that there are no leaders EVERYONE is waiting on everyone else… Read more »
I was told by a unconfirmed source, that one of the reasons that these Rebbes go to chabad shuls, even though there are other options available in warm climates, is because they dont want the publicity, and even many of they’re own chassidim dont know where they are.
