ברוך דין אמת! I am shocked and saddened to hear this terrible news. Sarah was a very special soul with whom I shared many kindred spirit moments. Her creativity and spiritual sensitivity added much to our Tannersville community. Although I had not been in touch with her for a while (life rushed in and kept us both busy in different parts of the world) and had no idea that she was sick; I will truly miss this very special friend. May her family be comforted among the mourners of Zion, and may she be a ‘melitza yosher’ for them and… Read more »
As a relative of a HASC consumer, I am sad about the passing of Sarah. She was a real advocate for the special needs population. We enjoyed her enthusiasm, positive attitude, good spirits. and entertaining personality. She will be missed by many. May her family be comforted knowing that she helped many people.
just learned of this news during a retreat in Safed…was not able to concentrate much after receiving this info..but then I made an about face and concentrated deeply as I know that Sara and her thirst for knowledge and would be sitting right up there in center row, listening and concentrating with a passion and would want me to be doing the same-..her vitality and humor was like a tonic for tired souls.; further her.perceptive insights and no nonsense attitude was vivid and dynamic. her smile, her dry wit and that great fish necklace of hers, zany and up beat,… Read more »
Michoel, sorry to hear about your loss. You and your beautiful family should only know happiness
I knew Sarah since 2002 when I started working for HASC. She was my number 1 cheerleader and advocate in this field. There was nothing she would not do to get her participants all the services they wanted and needed. Sarah was eclectic, direct, no nonsense…I will miss her dearly.
From being stopped on Eastern Parkway over 35 years ago to smell an odor in the trunk of her new Peugot to the halls of HASC. We have been there and done that. Her greatest joy besides her family was living in the “daled amos of the Rebbe.” Comfort to her family. So very sad for the family and all the HASC consumers she gave her life for.
Boruch Dayan Haemes. I wished that you, the family, never had a chance to utter that brocho.
Sara was an amazing person.
May we have V’Hekitzu V’Raninu Shochnei Offor so her neshama can have the highest aliya – neshama b’guf.
Hamakom Yinachem Eschem Bsoch Shaar Aveili Tzion V’Yerushalaim.
so shocked to learn about this terrible loss. what a shinning light full of life and unconditional Ahavas Yisroel. may Hashem comfort all of you and may all of Klas Yisroel be zoche to the revalation of Moshiach when we will reunited with all of those so precious to us.
I am so sad for her family. And for the rest of us. I connected with Sarah the minute I met her. I don’t know how any mother could be as devoted as she was. Smart, sharp, dynamic and forthright, she dealt with joy the same way that she dealt with adversity: emotionally-charged, intellectually focused, with a razer sharp humor. A tremendous woman. What a loss. Moshiach now. BDE
I was shocked to learn the news of Sara’s passing. Whenever I think of Sarah, I recall the joie de vivre with which she participated some 26 years ago as a member of a Lubavitch Women’s Choir ,that performed as part of the Beis Rivkah Annual Production. She was fun to be around and over the years, I was always happy to greet her on the street, because her “happy vibes” were a tonic to everyone she met. My heart goes out to her dear family. I have one final thought: since we KNOW that this is the last generation… Read more »
