The Crown Heights Jewish Community Council has once again arranged with the Forestry division of the New York City Parks Department to have all the schach picked up.
During the next few days, schach branches will be picked up by the local Sanitation Department on the regular garbage pick up days of your block.
Please put the schach in the area where your regular household garbage is being picked up. If you put your garbage in front of your house, please put your schach along the curbside.
The Sanitation Department should start picking up starting tomorrow, Thursday, October 27 and the following few Sanitation pick up days in the neighborhood.
Please have all schach bagged or tied up by string.
