Ruth Sandberg, a long time Crown Heights resident, passed away on Friday, 4 Nissan, 5784.
She was 81.
Born in Israel, she lived in the Bronx before moving with her young son to Crown Heights.
She was a very cheerful person who was always friendly and down to earth, always showing interest in others, She was a piano teacher in her earlier years.
She is survived by her son Shlomo.

Hadn’t seen her in a long time. Was planning.. to contact her. A lesson in grabbing the moment. She was one of the elder women in this community who were saddened at losing the shalom center. Hope her son is ok. May her neshama have an aliya.
