The Russian Junior N’shei Chabad celebrated their 10th annual Farbrengen Sunday evening in Lubavitcher Yeshiva in Crown Heights.
It also commemorated the 5th yahrzeit of Rebbetzin Sara Levin, OBM.
The group for Russian-Chabad women holds monthly Rosh Chodesh farbrengens and meets yearly at a dinner event.
The event was organized by Rochel Feigin and Nurit Sarytchev, with decor by Chana Komarovsky.
The program included a girl’s choir led by Klara Landsman and Nurit Sarytchev, a video of the Rebbe, and musical entertainment by Chanaleah Nunez.
Speakers included Nurit Sarytchev, Rochel Feigin, Rivka Sidorov, Shulamis Bloom and Leah Yechielov.
Joyous dancing and a Chinese Auction raffle concluded the program.

Beautiful job, Chana Komarovsky you did an amazing job, with the Russian style decor – the tablecloths and drapings, the magnificent centerpieces, the real Russian food imported from Russia, I’m stunned – you have a lot of talent, amazing!!!
I can’t believe that all the famous Russian sweets we grew up with, which I haven’t seen for over 20 years, was actually imported from Moscow for this event. The decor, songs, food, and dancing was UNBELIEVABLE! I loved it! Thanks to all the organizers. Keep it up!
