Air-raid sirens were activated across Israel’s central region, including in Tel Aviv, on Monday evening, warning of incoming Hezbollah terrorist missiles from Lebanon, according to local media reports.
The Israel Defense Forces’ Home Front Command confirmed that alarms were triggered in more than 180 cities and towns across the country’s central Gush Dan and Sharon regions, sending millions running to bomb shelters.
The IDF announced that “attempts were made” by the military to thwart “a number of launches” by Lebanon’s Hezbollah.
