The opportunity for blessing a fruit tree that has begun to bud comes only once a year, during the month of Nissan. The bracha: ברוך אתה ד' אלוקינו מלך העולם: שלא חסר בעולמו כלום וברא בו בריות טובות ואילנות טובות ליהנות בהם בני אדם
lately it is being said, that the tree in the front court yard of 770, right at the rebbes window, is a cherry tree, i am wondering, why is it that all the years of me growing up in kan tzivah we always went to some tree around the shcune, now if it is in deed a real fruit tree, wouldent be the right thing to do, to make this one’s a year broche at the rebbes window?
