The original parade song “Parade Paradin’” was composed and recorded by Shmuly and Bentzy Marcus of 8th Day for The Great Lag B’Omer Parade 12 years ago in 5771.
With plans underway for this year’s parade in honor of Hakhel, the parade team felt it was time to have it redone, with some changes to the lyrics and a new energy that could only be brought by special guest star Joey Newcomb.
