A group of Bochurim wanted to give the Rebbe an extra Nachas Ruach for the special 120th birthday this year. Thinking of what special gift they can give the Rebbe, they looked no further than what they do every Wednesday – Released Time!
Working in close contact with Rabbi Sholom Ber Hecht of the NCFJE, the Bochurim organized a 4 day camp for every day of Chol Hamoed for both boys and girls.
The camp had a grand total of 120 Public school children and every child left with a blast of fun memories and new friends!
The camp was spearheaded and led by Rabbi and Mrs. Shneur and Menucha Majeski, while Bochurim Mendel Holtzberg, Zelig Newman and Chaim Piekarsky organized the behind the scenes work to assure every detail of camp ran successfully.
Every day of camp the children together with their counselors enjoyed a fun trip to NYC and created a cool Pesach project while learning about the Yom Tov.
On Chai Nissan, all of the children came to 770 to join a children’s rally organized by the NCFJE. The children were uplifted by saying the Yud Beis Pesukim and watching a video of the Rebbe in 770!
Special thanks to Rabbi Sholom Ber Hecht and the Sephardic Jewish Congregation of Queens, and to Rabbi Mordy Hecht and Anshe Sholom Chabad JCC, for providing the locations for the Camps.
Special thanks to Rabbi and Mrs. Majesky, Chaim Piekarsky, Zelig Newman, Mendel Holtzberg and all the incredible counselors and staff of the boys and girls divisions for their efforts, devotion and enthusiasm in making the camp the major success it was!

Beautiful!
And Yasher Koach!!!
