Rebbe’s Ohel Open For Gimmel Tammuz, Guidelines Issued

To ensure the safety and well being of the visitors coming to the Ohel for Gimmel Tammuz, Ohel Chabad Lubavitch in coordination with Rabbonim and government officials have set the following guidelines:

• Masks and social distancing are mandatory

• Throughout Gimmel Tammuz, from 8:00pm Wednesday until 10:00pm Thursday, the line to enter the Ohel will be walkthrough only (i.e. you will place your Pan while walking around the Ohel).

• Entry will be from the cemetery gate on Francis Lewis Blvd. and 228th St. (down the block from Ohel Chabad Lubavitch).

• If possible, try to schedule your visit to the Ohel earlier in the week. Beginning Sunday 9:00am Chof Tes Sivan, time limitations may be implemented if at any time the Ohel becomes too crowded.

• Please do not congregate or spend any time on the streets around the Ohel when coming or going.

As the tents will be closed, please be aware of the following:

• Your Pan should be written in advance (there will not be place to sit)

• Bring a Maane Loshon or Tehillim with you

• Please come with your own non-leather shoes

• There will be water bottles on the line and refreshments will be provided to go

• Restrooms will be available

• There will be no place for Minyanim

• No events of any kind will be allowed (including engagements or other Simchos)

Shabbos

Regrettably, in order to be compliant with city and state regulations, Ohel Chabad Lubavitch will be unable to provide accommodations for the Shabbos before or after Gimmel Tammuz. We respectfully request that no one arrange any personal accommodations in the area, whether in homes or rented vehicles.

Your cooperation and adhering to social distancing rules is crucial to creating a Kiddush Hashem and ensuring that everything goes smoothly.
