1304 President Street was opened in honor of the 6th of Tishrei, the yahrtzeit of Rebbetzin Chana Schneerson, the Rebbe’s mother.
The Brooklyn residence was mostly kept private, but at rare occasions the Rebbe handed out Tzedakah Dollars to the masses from the first floor.
Wednesday night’s Maariv prayers were held in the living room where the Rebbe prayed after the passing of his wife Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka Schneerson in 5748.
The Rebbe’s chair remains in its same spot, eyewitnesses told COLlive.
For the tens of Israeli bochurim, guests in New York for Tishrei, it was a unique privilege and memorable moment.
Vaad Hatmimim, who coordinate Tishrei activities for bochurim, thanked Rabbi Yehuda Krinsky for making the house available.

How about pledging $5K to help pay for a couple of deserving kids in the Yeshivas that already exist? You too can sponsor a needy child…one of our own!!
they should make a yeshiva there for the best and brightest students. a living tribute to the rebbe and rebbitzin! miriam and i’ll will pledge $5k for this project.
is there any more pictures of the rest of the rooms in the Rebbe’s house?
Those who opened and untimitly all who went in are “tresspassers”
1. Many Crown Heights people, and their children, were there Thursday morning for Shachris.
2. Everyone knows that the house is open for davening on Vov Tishrei, Chof-Beis Shvat, Yud Alef Nissan and Gimmel Tammuz.
3. No, Crown Heights People are good enough. They are better than good.
What does “limited public access” mean? Who decides who is zocheh to go? Who was told (not MY bochurim, obviously!) & why not everyone?
Why do we always find out about these things AFTER the event? What, we CH people are not good enough to be allowed to enter?
theyre not supposed to have cameras? they come all the way from Israel, get to go to the Rebbes house, and they shouldn’t take pictures to show friends and family at home?
look at the bochrim all with camraes! in the rebbi’s house!!
oyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!
