A new full-color glossy magazine will be celebrating the Rebbe’s life and achievements in 28 pages.
It is being prepared by the Shluchim Office in New York, the Chabad-Lubavitch resource center, as a mean to mark the 20th anniversary of Gimmel Tammuz 5774.
A group of Shluchim spearheaded the magazine, specifically targeted to the hundreds or thousands of contacts of Chabad centers who have not yet fully engaged with Chabad.
Many plan to customize the magazine and mail it out to their communities or distribute it at events honoring the Rebbe’s legacy and empowering participants to live joyously and Jewishly.
“This magazine delivers a glimpse of the power of the Rebbe, with a goal of showing the power of the reader,” says Avraham Green of the Shluchim Office about the publication that was designed by Spotlight Design.
It opens with an editorial by Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks, Great Britain’s former Chief Rabbi and closes with an article By Rabbi Joseph Telushkin, the bestselling author whose latest book is titled “Rebbe: The Life and Teachings of Menachem M. Schneerson, the Most Influential Rabbi in Modern History.”
Another article answers 12 moral answers based on the Rebbe’s teachings and adapted by Rabbi Simon Jacobson. And there’s the Rebbe’s teachings from the mission to the moon, adapted by Rabbi Yanki Tauber.
The deadline for a customized printing is Monday, June 3. For more info, email: guides@shluchim.org
