From Racheli’s mother:
Racheli was born over 10 years ago with a rare and complex kidney problem.
Racheli’s left kidney doesn’t function at all; her right kidney is partially functional – about 60%. As a result of this condition, Racheli suffers from recurrent, severe infections in the digestive system, causing her serious pain and suffering that is too much for her small body to handle.
Our Racheli weighs only 19 kg (about 40 pounds), and she suffers from anxiety and eating disorders that prevent her from living the normal life of a child her age.
Racheli must undergo a kidney transplant and an emergency surgery to save her life!
Racheli has undergone many treatments at Schneider Children’s Hospital in Petah Tikva with specialist doctors in order to prepare her slender body for the transplant surgery that will save her life. Our family has done everything to help Racheli and provide her with the best medicines and the most effective treatments. Most medical expenses are not included in the government-subsidized health plan and we have spent about $100,000 per year on these bills. We have accumulated huge debts…
The complex surgery that could save Racheli costs more than $600,000. Not only do they not have the resources to pay for such an operation, but because of all their previous debts, they can no longer take out loans.
We spoke to Racheli’s mother – her heart is broken and she tells us in pain: “What choice do I have? To see my dear daughter dead or to overcome my embarrassment and beg for help! My little girl whose entire life depends on this operation is calling you and begging you! She wants to live! She wants to be healthy! We have no choice but to turn to you for help. Please help us save Racheli’s life! ”
It is very difficult to ignore the pain of a little child and her mother’s tears. We will not rest until we know that we have made every possible effort to save her life. B’ezras Hashem we will be able to see her live the life of a normal, happy child.
We can do it! Please help us save Racheli’s life!

Update for Donors: 07/10/2023
Dear supporters,
We are thrilled to inform you that after significant delays, Rachel’s body has finally matured and is now ready for the crucial surgery. Additional costly treatments were necessary to prepare her delicate body for this life-saving operation. Unfortunately, due to financial constraints resulting from unexpected expenses, the surgery has been delayed until now.
Thanks to your amazing support and the generosity of everyone who opened their hearts to help, we are delighted to share that Rachel has already embarked on her journey to the Boston medical facility. However, the road ahead remains challenging, and our family still requires assistance.
Following the upcoming surgery in a few days’ time, the family will need to stay near the hospital in Boston for at least a few months. This extended stay is crucial to ensure everything progresses as planned and the transplantation is successful. It is a complex and critical process that demands further financial resources and the continued support of the wider community.
We invite you to remain a part of our journey and continue to aid us in securing the necessary treatment and financial support for the family during this critical phase. Your contributions are immensely meaningful and are subject to tax deductibility.
We firmly believe that together we can save Rachel’s life. Please join us and help preserve Rachel’s dream of living a normal, joyful childhood. We extend our heartfelt gratitude for your generous support and blessings in advance for your valued contribution.
All donations are tax-deductible.
Thank you very much and best regards
