That’s a nice, mellow way to brush off the problem. There are tens of thousands, (that’s right — TENS OF THOUSANDS) of Chareidim who deliberately milk the Israeli government and have no intention of ever returning the favor. Not only that, they are extremists who believe that they have the right to tell other people how to live, and try to enforce it by spitting on little innocent girls walking to school. The fact is that Israeli government is taking from the working class in Israel (and from U.S. funds) and giving a large chunk of it to the Chareidim… Read more »

As for milking the system, everyone has their own opinion about socialization of government benefits. Israel, like NY, has people who collect from the system as well as people with good jobs. It’s appropriate to keep in mind that jobs in Israel are scarce and people are… Read more »

But footnote #2 in the letter is the result of “Chareidim” milking the system and spitting in the face of the Israeli government.

The fact that they declared Chabad Shluchim as a public service shows that they are willing to work with the Frum community so long as the Frum community would be willing to serve their country and not just spit in their face and throw rocks at their cars.
