Maccabi Haifa Basketball Team came to play St.Thomas University Basketball team on Hoshana Raba.
Hundreds of local Miami Israelis including many visiting and Jewish Youth clubs showed up in support of Macabi Haifa.
Jewish pride resonated in the predominantly Catholic University where Rabbi Mendy and Tzippy Weiss serve the Jewish contingency of students in the Undergrad programs and the Law School together with their Community.
A beautiful sukkah was set up right in front of the auditorium where the game was so that everyone could eat comfortably and not have to walk to the law school where the sukkah was for the first days.
The owner, players and many people that day got to say the blessing on the lulav and Esrog and eat in the sukkah. A couple of the players had not been in a sukkah at all this sukkos.
The President of the University and the owner of Macabi Haifa were grateful to chabad and the display of Jewish pride.
