Reb Shmuel Meir Z”L was a wonderful Jew, a great Chossid and a man of great humility, kindness and intergrity. He was a great Machnis Orach and a genuine person. My father Z”L used to speak very highly of him.
To Dovid Leib and Moshe Silberstein, very sorry for the loss of your grandfather. May you only have good things from now on.
To Reb Eli and the Mishpocho,
We are shocked to hear the news. the special keshorim your father A”H had with making Antwerp into a bastion of Chabad Mosdois and the special keshorim with My Zeide Reb Sadya Liberow Z”L are known. those years through their hashpoah, hundreds of Yiden were influenced into Toras Verdarkei Hachassidus. May the family find Nechama and be zoiche to Vehikitzu Verannenu.
Rabbi Shmuel Meir Zilberstein also had a wonderful son Rabbi Yossi Zilberstein who passed away the 10th of Teves (1997)
He was a great Askin in the cities that he lived in, Palo Alto Californa, and Montreal Quebec, where he was a great asset to The Chai Center, with Rabbi Kessler, and He left a beautiful Dor of wonderful children and a wonderful wife Mrs. Silberstein (teacher in the Bais Rivka and the chaya mushka seminar).
It may be in the “Early Years” video-series – and *not* in the weekly videos, but again, I’m not sure..
He was a great man.
On one of the Living Torah’s Envounter with the Rebbe – is a video of r’ Shmuel OBM recounting the rebbe’s tu b’shvat talk before the nesius (in paris).
I can’t locate it now – but if someone can find it, would be great.
R’ Elye Zilbershteyn and family
