Rabbi Rachamim Rafael Tzikvashvili, who served as a Rav and leader of the Georgian community in Jerusalem, passed away on Sunday, 25 Tishrei, 5785.
He was a leader of the Georgian community in Israel and was among the founders of the Yesichena organization for education. He was one of the leaders of the Bais Moreshet Chachomei V’Rabbonei Georgia in the Romema neighborhood in Jerusalem.
He is survived by his wife, Bas Zion, and children, Rabbi Yisrael Shimshon – Kiryat Shmuel, Rabbi Yaakov Yosef – Beitar Illit, Mrs. Chaya Mushka Tzikvashvili – Marcus Le Laguna, Guatemala, Mrs. Chana – Rosh HaAyin, Mrs. Malka – Jerusalem, and Mrs. Tzipora – Yitzhar.
