I found myself crying along with him, and even more so now, after this second painful loss. It’s amazing how most of his speech is dedicated to thanking everyone else for their efforts. he really captures the unity & team spirit that makes chicago chabad such a beautiful community!

I just want to say that although Rabbi Moscowitz OBM was Head Shliach of Illinois, involved personally with all the shluchim here and involved also with the annual Kinus AND Merkos in NY, he came to everyone’s simcha, attended local farbrengens, adding to them, emceeing them even in some cases, whether at the Chicago Mesivta, or the Anash shuls,. My point is that he was just as involved and cared just as much for Anash as he did for the Chabad outposts. A real and true Head Shliach, he will be sorely missed.

Btw, he was choked when announcing the new shluchim because the shliach’s mother, herself an Illinois shlucha, died just a few months before.
what a powerful speeceh, he speaks with such a passion, with his whole being! Listen closely to all the incredible messages he gives in the speech, very empowering to official shluchim and unofficial shluchim, in official chinuch positions or as parents, He was given over to the most important causes in the world, and we can honor him by following his ways, which is the Rebbe’s way. AMazing how by HP this islike marching orders, a living will and chizuk for us all, especially the Chicago community and Rabbi M’s A”H family, may they be comforted. Beautiful and touching how he mentioned them all, especially now in hindsight. Geulah now.
He was a great, straightforward, honest and kind man. He helped my parents take on more mitzvoth when I was becoming frum and this a great loss. He was a kind gentle man who got the job done in peaceful way and with a kind voice always.

The emotion shown when appointing the new Shluchim, and the words he uses to speak about the privilege of being on Shlichus, and the encouragement with his story to continue and achieve more and more on our Shlichus is empowering! I am IY”H taking on in his memory to put extra effort in my Shlichus and to use the privilege the Rebbe has given me to the fullest measure! What a powerful speech on so many levels. I was lucky enough to hear him speak over 50 times on many shabbosim and yomim tovim. He was really an amazing orator and above all a real great person.
He was such a great father and Zeidy. What a tremendous loss, he left us so early. Dear Moscowitz family, we are crying with you. May your father’s many accomplishments be a comfort to you.
I think we took it for granted that we had such a dynamic leader, such an giving and empowering person as our head Shliach. I feel such a sense of loss.. never again will we hear his powerful and eloquent voice.
It is my prayer, that his sons will now carry the leadership of Chabad of IL. What could be a better tribute to Danny, than to see his sons continue to do what he did so well.
