But have you ever stopped and wondered why the Rebbe chose specifically these 12 Pesukim over the countless others? What is the deeper significance behind these Pesukim that makes us as parents so determined to drill them into our kid’s young impressionable heads? What lies beneath these fundamental verses that will change the way you say and teach them forever.
In honor of this Hakhel year Rabbi Manis Friedman will be starting tonight, Wednesday December 16th, part 1 of a 2 part course that will focus on Pesukim 1-6 at the Levi Yitzchok Library.
The course begins at 8:30 p.m. All women are invited to join free of charge in thanks to our sponsors.

The 12 psukim follow the 12-step program from a Jewish perspective. That is why there are 12 psukim DAVKA and not 11 or 13.
