As part of the Hanachos program, where Bochurim from Mesivtas across America view a video of the Rebbe twice a week and write a Hanacha on the video, a weekly “Hanacha Review” was set, where every week a different Maniach speaks exclusively to the Bochurim participating in the program about his personal experiences while being Maniach the Rebbe’s Farbrengens and shares with them tips on how to better write a Hanacha along with an open Question and Answer session.
This week’s Maniach was Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Jacobson who started transcribing the Rebbe’s Farbrengens as a young Bochur.
For his very first time, over a zoom meeting, Rabbi Jacobson shared his personal experiences of being a Chozer and Maniach of the Rebbe’s Farbrengens, as well as the privileges, challenges and demands that came with it.
Over 200 Bochurim joined on the Zoom meeting which lasted over two hours. It was hosted by Mesivta of Coral Springs, directed by Rabbi Yosef Eizicovics, and was moderated by Mashpia Rabbi Zev Shusterman.
In the coming “Hanacha Reviews” the Maniach will also review and comment on the top Hanachos of the week as part of the program.
