What could Rabbi Manis Friedman possibly know that most of us are clueless about?
We asked that question to graduates of the marriage course that Rabbi Friedman teaches via tele-conference.
The answers are pretty amazing. What’s really fantastic is the wide range of ages and stages of married participants that we spoke with.
From a Rabbi married for over 20 years: “I am amazed at how this course has given me a more “aidel” understanding to a highly “hush hush” element in married life.
From a Yungerman married with some young children: “Rabbi Friedman screwed my head on straight and turned on the light. This course removed the guessing game that I was trying to play and not succeeding.”
From a Chosson teacher and Mashpia for Yungerleit: “This is truly amazing and highly needed! Halacha should be taught by Chosson teachers and ALL Hashkofo should be handed over to Rabbi Friedman!”
Rabbi Friedman has been receiving non-stop feedback from the 120 participants of the first two courses he lead for Chassanim and Married Men. Across the board, participants are reporting the positive impact this revolutionary “educational” and “inspirational” course is having on their marriage relationship.
Rabbi Zalman Friedman, director of It’s Good To Know and RabbiFriedman.com reports the overwhelming number of requests to run a parallel course for Kallahs and Married Women.
To answer the need, Friedman announced “Marriage for Kallahs and Married Women” earlier this week. When asked how many participants he anticipates this course attracting, Friedman says “We are aiming high and the registrations are coming in at a nice pace. We are using cutting edge software that provides for a first-class experience from the sign-up process right through the actual live calls, and accessing the recordings for post-program review.”
Rabbi Manis Friedman is on a mission; to put sanity and sanctity back into the most sacred and foundational part of married life.

I did a great deal of learning before my Chassuna and heard all types of advice from RABBIS as well as friends. Rabbi Manis was the first time I heard of such eidele prospective brought down in such poshute words
Thank you for being so straightforward and helping us with topics as neglected as this.
I am signed up and so excited!
#17 – It is a very true point. Since, it’s not face to face, it allows the Rabbi to into more sensitive subjects. Also, he has a lot of experience speaking to woman. His main audience for the past many years are girls and woman from all backgrounds.
#19 – He just had a bit ago, a course for men as well. The good thing is, he has on youtube and on his website 11213.org great classes for free. If you’re a groom, you better go check that out.
mrs lipskier from emory university is moderating.
I am already signed up!!! thank you col for helping us access all this amazing stuff!
what about that boys we want a marriage course as well!
You make a good point. but I think that the format of the series – not face to face, gives it the appropriate and best possible framework to a woman audience.
I heard great things about Rabbi Friedman’s telephone calls for the men. Yasher Koach. But is it really going to work when a male talks about such sensitive topics with a telephone conference full of women?
I guess you’ll let us know…
Rabbi rothman did a great job moderating for the men. Who is moderating this for the women?
Neither my husband nor I had proper classes before marriage (we were older baal tshuvas) and struggled for 25 years, close to divorce. The class gave my husband the perspective of kedusha that has been missing in our marriage, and everything turned around. My life has changed so much for the better I can’t even find the words.I really look forward to doing the women’s class….. Baruch Hashem for Rabbi Freidman…..
this was a great series I listened I learned and I benefited in my daily life I wish everyone could take the course it’ll make their life richer
It takes extraordinary chutzpa (in an entirely positive sense) and breitkite to do offer this course and discuss this issue like he does. I participated in all the men’s calls and it amazing how reb manis literally walk the razors edge between being clear and direct without being vulgar or compromising on tznius or eidelkeit. So, so refreshing.
I would encourage everyone to take this course nad I would encourage all other teachers and mashpi’im to learn from him how to find that balance.
tovo olov brocho!!
You Da Best
IT seems like rabbi friedman in the last few years has devoted himself to teaching us, fellow chassidim. its so refreshing!!! it seems like everytime i go online, theres a nother class, call, talk, etc. A grosser yasher coach!!!!!
Thank you Rabbi Friedman for your deep thoughts and insights. They have helped me in many ways.
I can’t get enough of rabbi friedman! Many blessing a on his head!
my husband took the course for men and i look forward to participating in this one. thanks for doing this.
This is something that should have happened many years ago. Rabbi Friedman is a brilliant teacher and has such a unique understanding of practical application of Halacha. Any woman who joins this course will benefit herself, her husband and family forever
I took the course, to kind of fulfill some filial duty I thought I had to work on inproving my marriage even more… You know, here in la the women have a bi annual event for taharas hamishpacha review and inspiration. So I figured, I owe it to my family to sign up and kind of catch up. I was on all four calls, listened to the recordings and I can tell you that this course changed a lot of details in my family life. Baruch Hashem all changes for the better. I am married seven and a half years… Read more »
