Tomchei Temimim Ocean Parkway has launched an exciting and motivating Pirkei Avis project, spearheaded by Rabbi Turk.
Talmidim study and master their assigned mishnayos and then jump into various activities pertaining to the mishna. They are encouraged to use their skills to bring each mishna to life. Some created PowerPoint presentations of the mishna, while others built and created models.
Rabbi Zev Feldman, fourth grade Rebbi, shared that the project has brought new chayos and atmosphere into the classroom. “We are now past shavuos – completed one round – and Boruch Hashem the talmidim are giving it their all. It is amazing to see talmidim in the last two months of yeshiva so focused on their learning with such great vigor!”
