My daughter went to Rabbi Chitrik’s Sem as well and learnt an incredible amount of in-depth Chassidus, Tanach and Halacha. I didn’t expect to be learning Samach Vov and Alter Rebbe’s Shulchan Aruch with her when she was home for Pesach so that she could complete her assignments. The standards were high, the testing rigorous and according to her, the presenters were almost uniformly of excellent quality. i’m married to a grad from that seminary. i can say that although my wife is very bright and knowledgeable, she gained very little from her time there other than the “experience” of being in israel. i doubt that was worth the $15k her parents spent per year on her being there. very little of what she learned there can applied to her life 15 years later.
