Fact is, it is COOL – As in, cool how many times do you see that. Cool, everyone knows how special the kotel is. Cool, just plain cool.

Gabi will get tefillin on it!!!!
August 20, 2012 9:06 am

If there is anyone in the world who can get tefillin on that Jew -ITS GABI!! Even Reb Yitchi was amazed by how many tefillin Gabi got in the pretzel every friday on mivtzoyim. Mazel Tov to gabi and Akiva p Boruch.

The Tattoo Artist's Motto
August 20, 2012 12:35 am

I once saw a t-shirt on a man, who looked liked a graffiti mural, that read:

“The body is G-d’s temple, our job is to put on the wallpaper”.

Looks like this guy took it literally.

Tefillin Booth
August 20, 2012 12:29 am

Did he also tattoo the Tefillin stand that is at the Kosel?
If he did, he would have put his real Tefillin on his Tefillin booth :-/

its the koisel!!!

Baal T'shuva embarrassed by own tatoo
August 19, 2012 2:57 pm

There is a story, long ago, about a Baal T’shuva (maybe Ger), who, before he became Frum, had a tattoo. He went to the mikva, and noticed stares, which made him very uncomfortable. An elderly Chasid finally calmed him by showing that he also had a tattoo (a number from the C. Camps).

Thats the spirt

Good on ya remember
Moshiah now And one good deed can change the world
Dont know how but it could so always do the right thing 🙂

may be he is a goy?
August 19, 2012 2:05 pm

It is says a ‘man’, may be non-jewish. Is tattoo forbidden for goyim too?

y'all
August 19, 2012 1:35 pm

what is AMAZING/OR OF INTEREST is that a seemingly not frum jew sports such a tatoo at all1 no one is kashering it or advocating it

May be, find an other address...ketovet (ka'aka'a)
August 19, 2012 1:29 pm

Strange that the thrill as to come from a anarchistic and antinomic expression of an individual that is so far that he does not know that for dorot and dore dorot jews were called ‘limpie de pelo i sangre’ ‘pure of blood and skin’ as the opposite of the Castillian ymsh ‘limpiedo de sangre’.
However l’kaf zechut, fix the miss and teach the proper way to look at things, with a building reinforcing observance of the Jewish laws and customs.
ELUL, any ledodi vedodi li, Hashem should have rachmanut on our deceptive out look on his beautiful creation,

August 19, 2012 11:42 am

Is this really appropriate to post publicly? Especially without a disclaimer that this is a Torah prohibition?

geula, shabat shalom!!!!
August 19, 2012 11:34 am

Hey gabs regards from dnepr!!!!

REALLY??
August 19, 2012 11:30 am

This is assur on sooo many levels and you all think it’s cool???!!!!!!!!!

My oh my
August 19, 2012 11:24 am

Are people that clueless or just uptight?! When the commentator wrote “cool” he or she did not mean “oh, that’s amazing. I’m running to get one too with 770 on it!” It was “Cool” as in “that’s funny/weird to have a wall wrapped around on arm” And yes, we all know that a tattoo is against the Torah. Every kid learns and knows that. So calm down. All this picture is showing is the diverse kind of Jews Lubavitchers engage in on Mivtzoim, people who otherwise would not have been offered to do a Mitzvah; That we put on Tefillim… Read more »
