Rabbi Leibel Groner, secretary of the Rebbe, made a short appearance at the Abramowitz – Sthul wedding which took place last week in Williamsburg.
Father of the Kallah Rabbi Sholom Abramowitz, a Chaplain at the Otisville Correctional institution, is a well known Baal chesed and a tireless advocate for causes of Pidyon Shvuyim.
Rabbi Groner exchanged Divrei Torah with Rabbi Naftoli Liebowitz, uncle of businessman and activist Reb Chaim Yankel Lebowitz and writer of the Torahs of the Satmar Rebbe Reb Yoel obm.
Rabbi Groner, who was accompanied by Chanina Sperlin and Eli Slavin of Crown Heights, was warmly greeted by Rabbi Moishe Friedman, Mesamesh of the Satmar Rebbe (Reb Zalmen Leib) Shlita.
It’s a good feeling to see Taalmidaei “Hillel V’Shamei”

PS Reb Mioshe Friedman was also the me-sha-mesh of the Beirach Moishe (previuos Satmar Rebbe OBM.
