Chabad Center of Talbieh made yet another breakthrough on Chol Hamoed Sukkos, holding a Simchas Beis Hashoeiva event in the Mamilla neighborhood.
The event kicked off with a children’s rally, the Shteinberger Choir and live show by the theater group “Nekuda Tova.”
A raffle followed with prizes raffled off, such as an iPad3 and a hotel weekend. The joy reached its peak when all joined a Simchas Beis Hashoeva a’ la Piamenta!
R’ Yossi and Avi Piamenta, who performed with their usual excellence, fired up the crowd with their music and fervor.
“Emet Ma Nehdar” it was, at the sight of children cartwheeling alongside their seniors, religious with those who are not yet, and even tourist groups of B’nei Noach, clapping and cheering to the simcha that continued way into the night.
Surrounded by the backdrop of the original walls of Jerusalem, a request was expressed by many participants, that what Chabad Talbieh had pioneered last year – the Grand Menorah lighting on the Avenue followed by the lag bomer parade, and this Simchas Beis Hashoeva, should become a regular fixture in this Jerusalem neighbourhood.
