Hi Boys and Girls! Welcome back to the Parsha Studio!
We are now in the month of Elul when Hashem is extra close to us. This is a time known as Melech Basadeh- The King is in the Field. In the month of Elul, Hashem becomes more accessible to us, similar to the Mashal of a king coming to the field. It’s up to us to be inspired, approach Hashem, and seek connection. During Elul, we blow the Shofar daily (except the day before Rosh Hashanah) to remind us to do Teshuva and seize the opportunity to draw closer to Hashem for a good and sweet new year.
To develop your shofar-blowing skills, let’s have fun blowing a Bubbly Shofar to the beat of Tekiah, Shvarim, and Teruah. Toooo, Toooo Toooo Toooo, Tu Tu Tu Tu Tu Tu Tu, Tooooooooooooooooooooo. Did you know that bubbles consist of a layer of soap on top, a layer of air in the middle, and another layer of soap on the bottom? Bubbles can be stretched and shaped due to surface tension. Although a bubble may initially form an uneven shape, it will eventually become a sphere. Even if the bubble is stretched or disturbed, it will always return to a spherical form. Enjoy blowing the colorful bubble shofar!
