Hi Boys and Girls! Welcome back to the Parsha Studio!
This week’s Torah portion, like last week’s, includes Moses reminding the Jewish people of their experiences. He recounts the events surrounding the receiving of the Torah and repeats the Aseres Hadibros. One of these mitzvos, which we will focus on today, is the mitzvah to honor the Shabbos. Hashem wants us to dedicate the seventh day to reflecting on our connection with Him and to remind ourselves that Hashem created everything to make the world a better and brighter place.
We’re about to embark on an exciting project – creating a gorgeous mosaic Challah cover for our Shabbos tables. First, let’s gather two pieces of plastic and connect them carefully to form the cover. Get ready to dive into the intricate process of decorating our Challah Covers. We will use a fine gold marker to craft a beautiful botanic mosaic, paying attention to every little detail. And to add an extra touch of elegance, we’ll embellish the mosaic with shimmering glitter glue. Your Challah cover will add an extra dazzle and sparkle to your Shabbos table adding to the beauty of Shabbos!
