who won the game?
You didn’t get one thing right in your tirade. They got the lyrics correct. They DO NOT “live on welfare” – these guys work quite hard. And the Star Spangled Banner is notoriously difficult- Errors are so common, that they are the subject of a whole (sub)genre of jokes.
And, by the way they were singing for a game in which the NYPD team was playing against the Hatzoloh team.
Let’s here is in Yiddish!
they went off a bit
They got the lyrics perfectly right.
Here they are. Listen again.
Oh, say, can you see, by the dawn’s early light,
What so proudly we hail’d at the twilight’s last gleaming?
Whose broad stripes and bright stars, thro’ the perilous fight,
O’er the ramparts we watch’d, were so gallantly streaming?
And the rockets’ red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof thro’ the night that our flag was still there.
O say, does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave?
That was the weirdest thing ever
What was the point of it??
Sorry for every one who thought it was nice but I don’t get the point of it!!!!
Only in America. Inspiring.
That shows that people don’t know the anthem themselves.
who won the game???
They should apply for city field.
On the other hand, maybe they should have.
seond video was off
Some people have complaints to everything! I think that was a kiddush Hashem! Very outstanding!
where was this? which ball game? nice voices
b/c i like it!
i think he was looking at his phone to read the music notes, not words
watched this whole thing with a big smile!
This was a fundraising baseball game of Hatzola vs. NYPD.
Glorious Kiddush Hashem! Indeed, we’re waiting for Moshiach, but until he comes, we are darned lucky to be waiting in the USA!
They did not get the words right. They jumped to the third paragraph in middle of the first and finally in the end did they get back on track. It’s quiet embarrassing how no one who commented knows the anthem.
First of all, the guy is reading the lyrics off his phone. Also, the lead singer messed up quite a few times on the words. Luckily a few of his backup singers knew the lyrics and helped him through it.
i dont get it. whats wrong with it?
Beautiful !!
I thought they were awesome. The poem has been changed and shortened many times and they sang it just great with some improve of the words as well. I loved it and better then most. G-d bless those guys and if it came from holy and innocent Jewish voice and Jewish soul its the best. Shame on you for the criticism. Rock on Yiddin
It was boring, but they had good voices. In their perspective, it probably went as planned
A bit off time, but not bad. What’s the big idea?
That dude has awesome talent.
What didnt go smooth??
twas quite powerful.
I thought they did a very good job. What was wrong with it?
At first I thought this was a legitimate minor league game, until the camera panned out to all the Chassidishe players and the 12 fans in the stands. Nonetheless, it is still an embarrassment that these people don’t know their own. national anthem. If you are going to live in this country, take their welfare checks, and live in the government’s subsidized housing, you ought to learn the national anthem.
i thought it went very well.
The title is slightly misleading, I thought they did a wonderful job.
Btw which game was that??
kol hakovod for the good kepl!
ach di peilishe pateites
I dont see what didnt go smoothly?
I don’t get what went wrong?
What didn’t go smooth? They sang just fine, didn’t make any mistakes, sounded quite nice. Everyone applauded, looked like a Kiddush Hashem.
