according to that medrash we shouldn’t be walking around saying the kosel is the only wall standing. Rather the only wall that can never be destroyed.
This is the Medrash that is the source for “the last remaining wall”: אין השכינה זזה מכותל מערבי שנאמר הנה זה עומד אחר כתלנו זה כותל מערבי של בית המקדש שאינו חרב לעולם”.
it doesn’t say the other walls were destroyed it just say the כותל will never be destroyed. (it also happens to be the closest spot to the קודש קדשים we can get to today).

First of all both walls are just retaining walls of the har habayis, not thhe walls of the beis hamikdash itself. The western wall is not the only wall. There is the southern wall as well. However, the western wall is the closest to are of the kodesh kedoshim.

it just aint true. Its not the last remaining wall. The south wall still stands. You can even go up to it, walk up to the chuldah gate. Why does everyone say the Kotel is the only wall? I must have asked a million people this and no one answered me.
