Both prison complexes in Otisville, N.Y, were closed indefinitely – at least until after Pesach – after a child who was infected with the measles was there as a visitor.
Rabbi Moshe Margereten, a prominent prisoners’ advocate, said that the prison – both the camp which houses prisoners with lighter offenses and medium security lockup for prisoners serving longer sentences – well be closed to all visitors for the time being.
The child, who was from Williamsburg, was visiting his father who was incarcerated. The father is due to be released after Pesach.
The ban comes amid a large measles outbreak in the Orthodox community in New York, which is centered in Rockland County and Williamsburg.

The way they are portraying the measles as caused by the Jews. Only reporting those while there are many others with measles that are not Jewish.
And…why not tell us if this child was vaccinated or not. Somehow they omit this mportant detail when mentioning the Jews are spreading diseases. In many of these measles cases the infected person was in fact vaccinated.
