Online Students Honor Parents

The Shluchim Online School always takes what the girls learn to actually make a change and improve in that aspect.

The school’s theme for extracurricular activities this year is MAC- Make a Change, and each month the students “Explore” a different computer program along with an aspect of Chassidus. Last week, once again, the Shluchim Online School has done just that.

Because of Sefirah, this month the students are “Excel”ing in their Ahavas Yisroel and Middos, focusing on another aspect of this each week. This week, for Kibud Av Va’aim in practice, the girls were invited to a special Baking Fest and Napkin Folding program after school.

While grades 1-5 were folding napkins in different shapes and patterns, the 8th graders were baking marble cakes while showing them over the webcam. The busiest time for a Chabad House is Thursday night, so we are sure that the students were a great help their parents, ‘excel’ing in their Kibud Av Va’aim, through this program!
