Last Purim, over 20,000 Luvavichers world wide, entrusted Rabbi Gluckowsky with their Matanos L’evyonim, and nearly 1500 families in over 54 communities across Israel received substantial monetary gifts on Purim Day!
This year, with many Chabad Ukrainian refugees coming to Israel – without any means to support their families, the demand has grown to over 1850 families across Eretz Yisroel that are requesting help! The goal is to say YES to every one of them!
The proper means through which to fulfill the mitzvah of Matanos L’evyonim is for each individual to give the value of a satisfying meal to at least two poor people on Purim day itself. The challenging task of finding appropriate recipients and helping them in a dignified manner is made even more difficult for it’s being required on one of the most hectic days of the year.
Here is your chance to perform the mitzvah in the most convenient, reliable and Mehudar way possible!
The “Adopt a Family” fund, led and supervised by Rabbi Menachem M. Gluckowsky, has made this Mitzvah more accessible than ever. Through donating to CharityForIsrael.com, your Matanos L’evyonim is guaranteed to reach at least two of the neediest families of Anash and Shluchim in Israel – ON PURIM day!
Don’t wait till purim! Make your donation now, and Rabbi Gluckowsky will distribute the funds on your behalf to two Evyonim on Purim day. Families outside of Yerushalayim receive funds on the 14th of Adar, and families inside Yerushalayim on the 15th – Shushan Purim. This way, you are guaranteed to fulfill the mitzvah in the most Mehudar way possible.
