Dear Parents, Alumni and Friends, שיחי,
We are on the onset of the month of סיון ,where ישראל כלל stood before Mount Sinai אחד בלב אחד כאיש In this spirit, we would like to share good news from the Board of Directors.
This past school year has been a most trying one for Oholei Torah. Many letters were circulated regarding a most unfortunate difference of opinion between the members of the Board.
We, the thirteen members of the Board, have a wide range of backgrounds, and various opinions.
Nevertheless, the common denominator that unifies us, is our ironclad commitment to Oholei Torah and the Rebbe’s vision and ideals regarding the chinuch of the talmidim.
As this is our ultimate priority, we are pleased to share that we have reconciled our differences. Furthermore, we have reached a consensus regarding how to move forward to improve the mossad bothברוחניות and בגשמיות and to strengthen its stability for the future.
Our first priority as a unified board will be to address the most pressing and urgent matters. In the near future, we look forward to sharing more details of our goals for Oholei Torah as well as celebrating the accomplishments and successes of our mossad.
We deeply regret the discord caused this past year. We hope to regain and earn your support.
As you, members of our greater community, play an integral and important role in Oholei Torah, we value your opinion and would appreciate your input.
Please email us with your questions, comments and concerns at board@oholeitorah.com.
Thank you,
בברכת קבלת התורה בשמחה ובפנימיות

let us all wish the Directors and Board increasing success in growing and strengthening the mosod.
Unity of purpose leads to positivity.
I still don’t know what they agreed about.
What are their opinions?
Which side gave in.
to all those negative comments
This letter is beautiful and positive – why turn it into something negative? And if your kids don’t have good midos, maybe the parents need to instill that, show an example??? Don’t blame everything on the school. There are many kids there with beautiful midos – in the same school and the same class…
No smiles is not a good sign. Boy, we need Moshiach!
While peace and an apology is admirable , NOW try an undue the terrible damage to our youth that your petty infighting caused.!!!! How can we expect our children to behave like menchen when the adults set such a poor example. Number 15 rightly says that the school needs to work on midos . How about the adults lead the way!!
Tears in my eyes
To be able to achieve peace..wow! An example for the rest of us. To be brave enough to admit your mistakes. Really in awe
May Hashem and the Rebbe be with you always.
Unfortunate that it all had to happen, but bh I’m sure there is much more clarity now. And after peace the bond only gets stronger. Hashem rests when yidden are united
May it lead to the ultimate peace moshiach now!
Since my kids went to OT is very chutzpah!!
They should all RESIGN, THEY CAUSED ALOT OF UN-NECESSARY GRIEF
1. These are a bunch of “gezhe” people. Diverse backgrounds my…
2. Differences and debate are good. Homogenized opinion is not!
Dear Board,
You make us and the Rebbe so proud. Thank you thank you thank you! May Hashem bentch you with the brochos of harchova, Harchovas haddas, harchovas halev, and of course Harchovas Hawallet!
We beam with pride knowing that we are a part of this mosad!
Thank You Again
What were the opinions?
And is it not normal for each person to have a different opinion?!
How did they manage to make peace? Please share this with everyone ,so they will learn from this .
Just when I thought oholei Torah was getting better.
Some things just never change.
Kol hakavod to all those involved.
To Rabbi Rosenfeld for always being here for the chinuch of our children, and always staying strong to the Rebbe’s horoas, making sure they are always they are always in place in the Rebbe’s moised.
Thank you to the board me never who have selflessly jumped in to help create a better learning environment for our children. All your help and support is very much appreciated.
Truly grateful and thankful
The crown heights community
Does either side have a plan for better quality learning? Or am i living in a previous generation.
To # 6: Believe me if OT had solid learning the boys would be just fine. The Board needs to get going on having top notch learning. Lubavitch had unparalleled learning and the Rebbe would not want it any other way. Lets produce the worlds Lomdei Torah (which we always had.) !!!!!
time will tell…
Thank you all for doing the smart thing
bruch hashem but WHY no ones smiling
how are students supposed to read the letter?
Sadly so foreign in CH. This is really heartwarming.
Kein yirbu!!
Perhaps this is one step in the right direction for the shchuneh which has been saddled with scores of machloikesen. The more example of sholom being publicized will especially benefit the younger bochurim and girls who hear their parents embroiled in these matters.
Until I saw this headline – I had NO IDEA there was NOT peace. It’s prolly better not to post that there IS peace as it informs the reading public of rifts.
