Amazing
hey at least maybe he woke up a tiny bit reading some Tehillim!

Just words on a teleprompter...serving no one... but himself
September 12, 2011 3:37 pm

He assists Al Quaeda (he is assisting in the establishment of their terror state in Libya), the Palestinians (they are using his image and words to create a terror state in Israel, with Jerusalem as it’s capitol) assists Israel’s enemy Turkey (he demands Israel apologize for defending itself from the Hamas flotilla) and is supporting the radical militant activist Shabazz Black Muslim school in Chicago with 50,000 dollars if stimulus money.

Needless to say, Obama’s heart is clearly not in the words of our Psalmist.

I must say I agree with you. Obama might believe in G-d but has a healthy ‘yetzer hara.’ He might/probably recited the ‘Tehillim’ to win votes…why? Nathan Lewin, Rubashkin’s attorney, stated in Beis Yaacov Seminary, in Boro Park, (During the Rubashkin appeal) that when the president was electioneering in Iowa, he criticized businesses that mistreat workers before Rubashkin had his trial. Mr. Lewin was visibly upset. “Obama is a case attorney with a degree from Harvard. He shouldn’t be doing this.” (Loose quote) Subsequently, in the second trial (Worker abuse) all the charges were thrown out. The judge and jury… Read more »

One of the poorest recitations I've heard
September 12, 2011 3:13 pm

Isn’t he billed as an orator? A person who moves people with his words?

That was one of the poorest recitations of Psalms I’ve heard.

Lacking on all fronts: in smoothness, in intent and feeling, in comprehension (also a bad translation to boot, which makes it sound almost senseless). And as usual, he sounds so disingenuous whenever it comes to these things.

He just doesn’t sound like he believes in what he is saying, in the slightest.

goyim don't see tilim
September 12, 2011 3:13 pm

he didn’t say tehillim, only jews say tehillim. although its good that he mentioned g0d.

Saying 'psalms' doesn't mean saying Tehillim
September 12, 2011 1:52 pm

‘Psalms’ is also in the new testament. Many non Jews say psalms and it has nothing to do with being pro-Jewish.

WOW
September 12, 2011 1:08 pm

a European socialist Muslim terrorist secret communist operative saying tehilim……wow, what a contradiction!!!!

skeptic

i heard obama reading Tehillim on the radio, and I just couldn’t stop thinking – this sounds like a man who doesn’t believe in G-d.

No.9.

Your feelings are correct. Obama is a G-dless fake.
To prove this, if indeed proof is needed, you still might be able to view on computer one of his early speeches where he quotes from our Bible only to make fun of it. No. 11 has also got it right.

The hearts of kings

Hashem put these words into the President’s mouth.
Too bad the government has to have a memorial to mention G-d.

Tehilim
September 12, 2011 8:37 am

The reason that all the politicians read from tehilim or quoted other places was cause they didn’t want to use their own words which could be politicized but still people are finding a way to politicize it. Please.

Desecration
September 12, 2011 2:15 am

It is desecrating the words when someone of Obama’s values reads from them to gain political points by hiding his true belief which is Jeremiah Wright G-d (expletive deleted) America radicalism and his cultural identification which is Muslim.

However, decent non-Jews who read from “Psalms” are only praising Hashem which is mutar last time I checked.

One day you will understand that the tehillim belong to the entire world and that the sooner they engage in saying them, the sooner, G-dliness will return to this world. Don’t forget, Moshiach is going to be the king of the ENTIRE world.

Don’t forget the vision of the prophet, “One day My house will be called a House of Prayer for all the nations”

we must mourn with the victims
September 12, 2011 12:15 am

But why do I feel that the choice of tehillim was an re-election ploy aimed at the xtian and jewish folks ?

Go rabbi katz

She heard my incident and said. No worries.. 20 minutes later rochel and shmaya arrived, with a new rented car took us all in a family of 12. Rochel bathed my kids dressed them fed them. This is just a small part of that shabbos. The rest I can’t put into words may they be gebentched..rochel entertained us with her talents of voice over. The rebbe is… Read more »

is it not transgressing the tehillim if a goy is reading from it? Was there any way that someone jewish could’ve read the tehillim eg mayor blumberg? i think it was very nice that the president read the tehillim but i just think it would be more appropiate if a jew would have read it
