A Jewish man was carjacked at gunpoint near Union Street and Albany Avenue in Crown Heights on Tuesday night.
An NYPD car on patrol spotted the vehicle and attempted to pull it over when the occupants fled from the vehicle.
The NYPD officers began to pursue them but they managed to get away. The NYPD is still currently investigating the incident.
How is it possible that such a brazen crime could take place within 1000 yards of what is/should be one of the most policed areas?
Not surprised they ‘got away’. They will do it again. This is not a win unless the criminals are brought to justice. That is the ONLY way this will stop. Unfortunately, the powers that be don’t seem to hold by that.
There is no way those cops can outrun those young guys.
I recommend the NYPD have a Drone Swarm which could track down the the bad guys.
