N’shei Chabad of Los Angeles has launched a new project in honor of Yud Shvat, which they are offering to women and girls around the world.
The Chabad women’s group worked on developing a new mobile app to streamline the daily Torah learning experience for Chabad women.
The app was developed by N’shei Chabad LA directors Fayge Yemini and Ruchama Thaler.
They were inspired to create the app after Ohel Chana High School 12th-grade student Sara Newman developed an app for the students’ Achos Hatmimim program.
“While speaking with women during Shuirim and networking, we saw that there was a common theme of wanting to use one app for their daily Chassidus shiurim, Chitas, and more,” they told COLlive. “So we asked Sara to develop a similar app for us as well.”
“The result is an app that offers users a practical and easy way to connect to the Rebbe,” they said.
The app streamlines the daily learning and makes it more user-friendly, featuring Chitas, Chassidishe Derher, Daily Quote, Rebbe videos and more.
